Johanna Taylor

Johanna Taylor, based in Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast, is the creator of the fantastic certified organic Juno Kombucha. JUN being similar to Kombucha, instead is made using green tea & raw honey, rather than black tea and sugar. Juno is the only commercial JUN available in Australia. A probiotic rich, fermented beverage flavoured using certified organic cold-pressed juices.

Juno Kombucha has been produced commercially now for over 12 months. Johanna believes that being certified organic with ACO is important, as she had to go the extra mile to gain the certification. It also proves suppliers adhere to the same high standards in growing/manufacturing/producing as she does. You can then trust that the products are free of pesticides, harmful chemicals and genetic modification. In turn Johanna can provide a beautiful, pure, certified organic product for her customers.


Ian Campbell

Ian is a highly qualified Rural Scientist who specialised in animal nutrition at University & then delved further into human nutrition.

Barambah Organics began in 2002 after Ian Campbell converted his 4th generation family farm, ‘Spring Creek’ in 1999 to organic status with Australian Certified Organic. The family has been farming at ‘Spring Creek’ since 1912. The farming operation moved to the Goondiwindi region in 2006 in order to secure access to reliable water. This has been an excellent move & the cows are thriving in this location.

Barambah have achieved international & national dairy awards & is now successfully exporting to a number of countries. Wray Organic are proud to support Barambah products in both our retail stores and cafes.

After being in the agricultural industry for more than 30 years & experiencing health issues, Ewart (aka the Turkey Man) discovered the positive impact turkey meat could have on his health & that of his family & friends. He set out to explore the possibility of producing free range organic turkey & the rest, as they say, is history.

The Turkey Man, his wife Suzanne & son Douglas, continue to work on their farm just west of Toowoomba, producing ethically grown organic turkey meat. GreenAg turkeys are kept calm & nutritionally sound by listening to baroque music while filling up on GreenAg’s own variety of home grown and milled certified organic feed.

Slater Farms

DEMETER bio-dynamic certified organic farmer

Rain fed rice is grown & milled on the family-owned Slater Farm in Northern Rivers, NSW. Brett Slater, a local bio-dynamic certified farmer with a passion for innovative sustainable farming moved to organic farming practices in 1998 & converted to bio-dynamic growing in 2004. Brett grew his first crop of dryland rice in 2009. He then purchased & set up his own mill on the farm to produce an all-down-the line bio-dynamic grain.

Most rice is grown in irrigated rice paddies?
Irrigated rice agriculture is a big source of atmospheric methane (20 times more potent a greenhouse gas than CO2).

Southern Australian rice crops require approximately 1500 litres of pump water for just 1kg of rice?
In contrast rain fed rice is dryland rice. This means that it requires only natural rainfall & saves critical Australian water resources. Besides being tasty & nutritious, rain fed rice is probably the most sustainable rice in Australia!

Food to Nourish was founded in 2013 with Danielle Minnebo & Juston Jirwander & was dedicated to creating tasty whole food products made with integrity & passion, using nutrient dense organic ingredients. In 2014 a production facility was built in Sydney where a passionate team dedicated to health & nutrition manages every aspect of product creation by hand,  from raw bulk ingredients to the nourishing finished item.

All ingredients must be organic, where possible sourced from Australia & be  gluten, dairy, soy, vegetable oil & GMO free.

Danielle using her nutritional knowledge & experience has created nutrient dense foods which maximise digestion. With a true passion for food she empowers health choices. Her journey began with her own health struggles & she soon realised see needed to nourish &  treat herself using food as medicine.

“I started Food To Nourish  because I wanted to make healthy food easy for people, not complicated & tasteless. I was sick of seeing unhealthy gluten free foods being marketed to consumers as healthy when in fact most of them are full of refined flours & sugars & no better than their conventional counterparts”

High Trees Coffee Estate

High Trees is a certified organic plantation who completely avoid the use of pesticides, chemicals and are grown in GM free trees. Based in Alstonville Plateau not far from Byron Bay, New South Wales, now emerging as a centre for the production of premium coffee. The volcanic soil and cooler temperatures allow the beans to mature gradually, intensifying their flavour in the process. Along with the plantation design creates this perfect cup of organic coffee.

High Tree Estates has been awarded 3 silver and 4 bronze medals from the “Sydney Royal Awards 2016” for a range of their beautiful coffee;

Leading a busy professional life, Leonard Costantini had a desire to make a tree change lifestyle & returned to Narangba (30kms north of Brisbane) to his family’s farm which was established in the 1950’s & affectionately known as ‘the farm’. Second Nature Organics small crops farm is also an outdoor educational facility. “We are passionate about good food, good health & the natural Australian environment & we love to share our passion with others. By not using poisonous chemicals, the risk of polluting our environment including the soil & our waterways, is gradually reduced. Organic farming aims to support this by setting aside space for wildlife. Why did we choose the name Second Nature, because we think it’s only natural to be able to enjoy quality wholesome food”.

Andrew Smith (pictured with father Ian Smith), is a fifth generation apple orchardist growing apples in the famous Tasmanian Huon Valley. The importance of the environment to Andrew & the general Tasmanian community has led to the logical progression of this once non organic apple orchard towards certified organic status. Andrew states, “growing organically is not just about organic apples that taste great & are good for you, it’s the protection of the local environment that most separates us from non organic producers”. Andrew is passionate about his community, “Every employee is a respected member of our team & each contributes in their own unique way. This is the way we run our business & the reason we have operated successfully for generations”. All fruit is still packed by hand & inspected by people playing an integral part of the ‘organic’ philosophy to support its local community.

When Simon was a lad, he came to the view that the most worthwhile thing he could do was to grow food for people. Lucky enough to have one of the best soils for organic agriculture, red volcanic soils of Northern NSW, it was lacking in a few vital nutrients. Chook poo is a perfect match for these deficiencies, so began Simon’s journey starting with a few flocks of hens… The farm is owned by two generations of the Cripps Clark family. Simon holds a bachelor of environmental science degree. The decision to go into egg production (mid 2008) was carefully considered by Simon. Using the latest scientific data & organic principles Organigrow was born & is now an integral part of the organic food process on their farm. “We treat our hens with respect giving them conditions which they love, an idyllic foraging environment. Our family loves the land we live on & our aim as farmers has always & will always be, to work with the land & be organic in every sense.”
